Profile
The Brandy Pad is one of the many beautiful walks through the Mournes. It was a route popular for smuggling in the nineteenth century. Goods that were smuggled included silks, coffee, tea and brandy.
As well as it being a walk rich in history, it is a also a lovely walk that takes you beside the mountains of Slieve Commedagh and Slieve Donard, and is well worth undertaking.
